It was a no-brainer. After all, Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and the Campaign to Save Cahuenga Peak go together like Bogey and Bacall, Tracey and Hepburn, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Just in time for the TMC Classic Film Festival, which celebrates Hollywood's history, the historic match was formalized.
To help raise awareness for the campaign, TCM will be running its own Save the Peak PSA video on its various online channels, and will feature regular campaign updates on TCM's Classic Movie News.
In keeping with its commitment to preserving iconic cinema, TCM is helping preserve an iconic landmark that evokes the industry and the place, which is as rich in natural history as it is with human lore. To learn more about TCM's role in the campaign, read the press release here.

My personal - but seemingly impossible - wish is to see the sign modified to
spell out "HOLY-WOOD"...that's the way I see the town already...any-buddy else out there who agrees...?
Also, there is a warning in the Bible: "...Remove not the ancient landmark..." ...but it says nothing about IMPROVING upon it: Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a tram-way to & view-vista point at the top?
