Above, Below and All Around Cahuenga Peak

Local residents have long enjoyed views of Cahuenga Peak from the city's streets and views of the city from the ridgetop and hiking trails. Nearly surrounded by Griffith Park, a protected Cahuenga Peak would be the keystone in a unique system of public recreation lands. The conservation of this property will link Griffith Park with communities to the west and secure an additional five miles of hiking trails.

It is Lake Hollywood, and it is indeed a man-made reservoir.
