When a community comes together, anything is possible. And what a community we have: more than 2,250 donors from 50 states and 10 countries, and some 28,000 Facebook fans. You rallied and baked pies; you organized concerts and hikes; you shared with friends and encouraged them to give; and in the end, you saved Cahuenga Peak. For that, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
While this particular Hollywood story has come to a happy end, there are countless other special places in Los Angeles and across the country that need to be saved, and even more communities that need parks, playgrounds and natural areas. Your continued support will help TPL protect the future of these places before they are gone forever.

I always wanted to say that like one of the starlets before me............the truth is...........you blessed my heart and made it skip for joy when I heard you bailed out the beloved Hollywood sign.
Yes, I said beloved. Anyone who tells you any different just is not being honest.
If you came here to So. Ca, the 1st thing you wanna see is that sexy thing so one can solidify you were there..........as a young child passing by that sign regularly in the family car, the sign represented a comfort of sorts, a tribute to those who had gone before and will come along in the future....................a mission work of sorts.........
